In a yoga frame of mind, focus on what you are thankful for. In this state of gratitude explore different areas in your life. What do you feel? Peace, joy, fear, stress or nothing at all. Do you believe you can change your own life? Pause for a moment. Scan your body. Do you hold tension anywhere? What are you holding on to? What do you need to release?
Every day, we have a wide range of choices that brings us joy, pain or something in between. And though the path of least resistance seems easier, it’s the tough choices that open us up to new life. It’s the sticking to yoga and practicing those more challenging poses. It’s not letting someone steal our moment of happiness. It’s choosing to eat healthy. It’s the small steps that take us to new levels of living authentically.
Today is your new opportunity. Rather, this moment is. Do it. Do the next thing that will make you happy. SARK in her book, Make Your Creative Dreams Real, suggests starting the journey toward the realization of your dreams by “microMOVEments”.
“Its 5 seconds to 5 minutes long because we can do just about anything for 5 seconds to 5 minutes”.
Meditate on the concept that you are loved and provided for.
